By tapping the operation button, 50 “weight” 180 kg Great Wall brand oil drums crossed the trestle from the shore and crossed the barge to the deck of the delivery ship. The whole process took only 15 minutes. On August 18th, the reporter witnessed the work scene of the first “shore bucket-filled lubricant conveying line” in the Zhonghe River in Zhongchang, Nanjing.
This is a conveyor line that transports barreled lubricant from the shore through a mechanized device and directly to a water distribution vessel. The total length is 83 meters, which is divided into three parts: shore-based track, trestle track and barge track. The set of equipment is designed by the company's technicians and assembled by itself. It has the ability to automatically change with the rise and fall of the river, the bridge, the floating raft, the position of the ship and the distance. It will be built from April this year.
In the past, it took more than 10 big men to work hard, and now it has become a handful of two or three people. Next to the trestle track, a middle-aged loader pointed at his clothes and said: "If you get 50 vats on board, you can screw out the water early." According to the on-site staff, it can be loaded and unloaded by manpower for up to 30 hours. The barrel is now capable of loading and unloading at least 200 barrels per hour.
With the structural changes in the water transport market, the ship has been upgraded and upgraded, and the sales volume of barreled lubricants has risen sharply. The company’s sales in 2005 reached more than 20,000 barrels, accounting for 50% of the total sales, and an average of sixty or seventy barrels per day. At the peak of the day, the loading and unloading operations of the barrels reached four to five hundred barrels. The watercraft is different from the shore work. The floating raft is affected by the season and the tidal water. The difference between the upper and lower drops is constantly changing. The trestle is not like a “slide”. It is like a hillside. It is not only inefficient, but also has poor safety. It also often damages the bridge railings and barges. The facilities have caused some oil drums to be deformed, some have been damaged and leaked, and occasionally the oil barrels have fallen into the river, causing losses to the enterprise.
The company decided to use mechanization to increase efficiency and adapt to the needs of the barrel lubricant market. They learned through research that there is no special conveyor line for inland water bottled lubricants in China. In the absence of ready-made equipment to refer to, social and technical forces can not provide support, Zhongchang burning Nanjing Branch bold design, precision calculation, scientific construction, overcome the problem that engineers of a mechanical transmission equipment factory believe can not be solved.
A technician from a mechanical research institute in Nanjing visited the site to evaluate it. This is an innovative project with less investment, practicality and efficiency. A station manager of the company's water station said that the conveyor line left him with no worries, even if the barreled lubricants were sold again, they were not worried that the base could not be delivered.
